I'm losing a lot of respect for CNN bending over backwards to kiss Charlie Kirk's ass right now...

As a human being, I absolutely feel bad for Kirk's family, particularly his children - regardless of whether he lives or dies. However, Kirk is little more than a Nazi in a polo shirt and khakis. It's one thing to report "just the facts ma'am" regarding his shooting. It's quite another for CNN to repeatedly drone on and on about the need for "thoughts and prayers" regarding him. To use Fox's term, a "fair and balanced" reporting of the story would give equal time to the rhetoric Kirk has made a charlatan's career of using that is, without a doubt, causally connected to what transpired today.

Charlie Kirk said a real "patriot" should bail Paul Pelosi's attacker out of jail.

Charlie Kirk was a human being and perhaps a good husband and father. I feel sorry for his family and his kids who probably won't remember much about him. I am not happy about this and I venture a guess that most of us are not happy. But the irony of a person who has fanned the flames of hate for quite some time losing his life on that altar of violence he made is not lost on most of us.

I wish this had never happened, but he was apparently being a smart ass about mass shootings to someone who asked him about such things at the time he was shot, so in the spirit of what he continually preached... maybe this was God's will.

Besides, he said it himself, empathy "does a lot of damage."

Right-wing celeb Charlie Kirk thinks George Floyd is a ‘scumbag’
https://minnesotareformer.com/briefs/hagedorn-munson-attend-charlie-kirk-speech-in-mankato/

Right-wing celebrity Charlie Kirk opened his appearance in Mankato Tuesday night by giving the crowd some advice: “Just don’t totally mess up this state. It was built by wonderful Scandinavians, and it seems as if it’s being destroyed now, rather intentionally.”

In an 80-some-minute speech, Kirk called George Floyd a “scumbag,” railed against urban areas — especially Minneapolis, which is “not the town it used to be” — and seemingly referenced Jan. 6 while lamenting how “if you dare walk into the U.S. Capitol building and take a selfie, they’ll put you in solitary confinement.”

In Mankato, Kirk told the audience his tour is named the “CRT tour” because of “George Floyd’s death, and the misinterpretation of that.” Kirk repeated debunked falsehoods that Floyd died because of a fentanyl overdose, that he was “illegally counterfeiting currency,” and that he once “put a gun to a pregnant woman’s stomach.”

“No,” he continued, “This is civilization-defining stuff

See one of his interactions below. He was a zero worth person who destroyed America. This is akin to asking my grandparents to be nice about George Wallace getting shot.

And when Trump dies Im going to be AWFUL.

Kirk was a white supremacist propagandist who would only be happy when everyone NOT like him was dead or removed from this country.

He didn't bring anyone together. He chased clout and clicks on a platform of hate.

And we don't KNOW who the shooter is. We don't. How do we know it wasn't personal? Someone that evil was bound to have a lot of enemies.

In 40 years we are going to find out it was someone acting on behalf of the Regime because this asshole kept talking about the Epstein files.

I have none for him now.

I am not an advocate of violence, nor vigilante actions. I believe there are other means to achieve justice.

I wouldn't put the idea or the weapons in the hands of those who did this. Charlie did both for the mass killers I cited above.

He was a vile, hate filled, arrogant white supremacist who fought common sense and human dignity at every turn. He was about as far from a patriotic or Christian American as you could get. I guess he'll find out just how much his privilege is worth now.

He left behind his children and wife, sadly. I hope they will find more sympathy and support than Charlie offered other survivors.

I will say this though: It certainly looks like a case of what goes around comes around.
