2023: About 3,500 children died from firearms.
2022: 2,526 children and teens (ages 117) died by a firearm, averaging nearly 7 deaths per day.
2021: 4,752 children died from gun-related injuries. This was a record high at the time.
20202022: Almost 10,500 children and teens were killed by gun violence.
20132023: Nearly 21,000 children ages 17 and under died from firearms.
Yes, we live in a broken country. This is what Charlie Kirk , a politicsl activist/ media personality had to say
"I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights".
I have no fucks to give that he was shot dead. In fact I'm enjoying the irony.
