We need more journalists like Maggie Haberman: "What is the theory since these documents came from the Epstein estate, who is faking this story?"

Karoline Leavitt: "I did not say the documents are a hoax. I said the entire narrative surrounding Jeffrey Epstein... is a hoax."

Haberman: "What exactly is the hoax? I'm just trying to understand what's fake."

Keeping her lies straight and semi-believable.
Recently she has actually looked stressed and rattled.

what precisely they were calling a ‘hoax.’ I know many do not like MH. I think she’s been uniquely effective at staying close to his orbit and even maintaining his confidence while she exposes him.

And she also said "I did not say the documents are a hoax.".

Um, isn't saying he did not write the letter or sign it the same as saying it's a hoax? I'm not sure how much Haberman was allowed to follow up, but I'm guessing Leavitt couldn't explain why someone would have faked the whole thing 22 years ago for the sole purpose so Democrats could attack him for it today. It was in Epstein's or his estate's possession for the entire 22 years. And it was in a bound book. How could someone have faked it?

You'd think she'd be better at this lying thing by now, but she can't even come up with a remotely plausible lie even after having plenty of time to think of one.

Is that book does exist and is not fake. To make her defense of Trump fit, the easiest assumption is someone working for Trump or Maxwell created that page for Trump. His people and Maxwell likely knew his signature.

However, it is. likely Trump was at that party. If it can be proven he was there, he would have likely heard about and seen the book.
