Kirk

I think what happened to Kirk was horrible and If it was actual political violence, abhore political violence.
What I find disconcerting is people connecting it to freedom of speech.
Kirk"s version of free speech was to spread hate and violence. He lived to demean and belittle people. He often implied Black folk and women were inferior to white males.
He used the freedom of speech as a way to bully people into some sort of right he had to verbally assault people.
At the end of the day, the old adage remains true: "Freedom of speech does not mean freedom of consequences".
