(23,950 posts)4. Flags are usually lowered for Sept 11th remembrances. The Governors of blue states have republican constituents .
And to show that they are elected to serve everyone, the right thing to do is lower the flag to half-staff from sunrise to sunset. As usual..no explanation or speeches needed.

Cause it seems like the flags are often at the top, and gun violence happens every day in the USA, far as I can tell.
