Remarkable example of why this country is completely broken, a racist and bigot gets shot and

Half the country mourns the loss as opposed to just denouncing the violence.

The fact that the person was as well-known as he was in the first place and simultaneously saying and posting the ugliest most hateful violent garbage a human being could do, says everything about our current condition.

Someone like this should be unknown and never EVER idolized.

There was and endless stream of right wingers vowing holy retribution, issuing death threats, and calling for a civil war against all liberals, and progressives, and Democrats who they immediately blamed for it with no evidence. Until, as usual, it turned out to be a radical right wing gun nut. And then no apologies, just crickets ...
