So after 40+ years of hate radio

from the right blasting into the brains of people I'm being told to believe that the big problem in the US is people on the left calling out policies and actions that harm people and take away their rights? Supposedly our speaking out against the fat-cats always getting more while the middle and poor get less is somehow spurring "violence"?

All while the big media, calling themselves journalists, dance to the tune. I always maintain that the difference between the left and the right is very clear and very simple. The right wants to do things to people in their lives while the left wants to do things for people in their lives. The right wants to take away freedoms and repress certain groups of people while the left wants all people, no matter what group, to be free from repression and to be able to exercise the same freedoms and to feel they belong just as everyone else and to do so without fear.

It is not a question of "both sides" or the left is weak or doesn't communicate. It's that the message of selfishness and hate has pounded so many for so long and given them license to embrace their internal ignorance and hate. So now when the left talks about humanity, compassion there are far fewer willing to listen. They would rather listen to the lies and hate and pull that inside themselves deeper and deeper in order to nurse that ignorance, hate and greed inside themselves.

"Who is so deafe, or so blynde, as is hee, that wilfully will nother heare nor see." Written by John Heywood in 1546 and still true today.
