Jacob Soboroff setting the record straight on MSNBC now

There is no evidence in the record that the suspect was any kind of leftwing radical. His parents were registered Republicans and he was raised around guns. He referenced internet memes and video games quite a bit.

Soboroff has good guests, including the specialist in the alt right who is really good at breaking down internet memes and the rightwing subculture.

and is suggesting that Patel should not be directly involved because he is a close friend and in the past former FBI directors would distance themselves in a case involving someone they had an emotional relationship with.
