But just among us girls, expulsion is a much lower hurdle. With impeachment, you must get the majority of the house, plus you must get 2/3 of the Senate. Expelling a House member requires only 2/3 of the House.

Nonetheless, it is completely accurate to say members of Cngress cannot be impeached. And rhetorically speaking,, we should use that as a spear rather than a shield. That is, a good response would be:

"It is comical that Trump, the twice-impeached President, doesn't even understand that members of Congress cannot be impeached. The founders saved this most extraordinary punishment of impeachment for traitorous members of the executive branch."

when the special election is held to fill the seat, can they run again and be reinstated? Because true impeachment disqualifies permanently while expulsion may not.
