I was watching BBC and they sure as hell weren't saying anything like that.

They were questioning why he would talk about the previous administration.

They observed the U.S. has willingly given up its leadership position with the U.N.

There were other choice bits--wish I would have noted them.

I missed the whole thing, so I went googling to find out more about it. Here are some of the headlines that came up I searched "trump un." (I did not take the time to copy and paste links, but you can probably find any of these by googling the headlines, or just google "trump un" like I did to get a sampling.)

While I'm sure the coverage could more hard hitting, and some news outlets are doing a better job than others, most of the majors don't seem to be pretending this was a "normal" speech or saying nice things about it.
