The problem is arrogant rich guys who think success in one area that made them rich somehow confers expertise in any other area, no matter what it is.
If these enttitled shitbags would stay in their lanes, whether it's buying up other people's engineering ideas, floating big loans to put up 60+ story eyesores that nobody really needs or wants, buying other people's software, or reinventing the department store, wouldn't it be lovely if they all realized they were not experts in economics, government, medicine, or any other discipline that takes the type of education they don't have.
Non medical people can leave the medical sesquipedalianisms to people like me, we'll help you out and we won't look don't our noses at anyone with a different skill set we might need some day. However, wen some rich kid turned entitled lawyer comes along and tries to practice medicine or determine medical standards and policy, we have a huge problem.
