The big money most likely came from spy agencies (or other quasi-government sources) who purchased the kompromat because some of the targets were in a position to make decisions of national policy scope, or large commercial impact. And I believe that was Trump's role in this operation, to identify and recruit people who could be compromised and were in a position to do things of great value to outfits like the FSB and Mossad.

So, to answer your question, I assume the FBI had some of this material and probably has destroyed it under the Trump regime. But I think it is also likely that the FSB and others have much of it. I hope the family has copies of the material, but I doubt Epstein shared it with them.
