Florida Removes 700,000 Children From Health Care Plan

Hundreds of thousands of American children have been removed from a health care plan in Florida in just over two years, according to data from KFF, a nonprofit health policy research and news organization.

About 700,000 children were disenrolled from Medicaid in the state as part of the unwinding process happening nationwide after Medicaid coverage was expanded following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Newsweek has contacted the Florida Department of Children and Families via email for comment.

plummeting tourism, fleeing of documented and undocumented workers, and firing of 100's of thousands of got workers and contractors -- all of which doesn't benefit the bottom 95% -- will somehow result in a healthy economy.

Those without extreme wealth create demand and are drivers of the economy. How can hollowing out of these consumer classes not result in some kind of recession/stagflation? And sooner rather than later? Is the cliff edge ahead of us or behind us?
