Hamas Says It Will Respond to Trump's Gaza Plan 'Very Soon'

A senior Hamas official said the Palestinian militant group will respond to US President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war in Gaza “very soon.”
Deliberations between Hamas and other Palestinian factions as well as with mediators Qatar, Turkey and Egypt are ongoing, Mohammed Nazzal, a member of Hamas’s politburo, said to Qatar-based Al Jazeera TV in comments aired on Friday.
Hamas is “looking for gray areas that we could work with” and rejects a “take it or leave it” approach to the 20-point proposal announced on Monday, said Nazzal, who’s based in the Qatari capital of Doha along with many other Hamas political leaders.
Hamas will not accept the surrender of the rights of the Palestinian people after all their “sacrifices,” he said."

Wonderful. They are responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of Palestinians by what they did on October 7, indirectly helped trump win in 2024 with their propaganda war against "genocide Biden, and genocide Kamala", along with the very real risk of the end of our democracy, and first amendment rights, replaced with a "christian nationalist" government.
Trump doesn't hide his ignorance about Project 2025 anymore, which VP Harris constantly warned us about during the campaign:
"Trump no longer distancing himself from Project 2025 as he uses shutdown to further pursue its goals."

In a post on his Truth Social site Thursday morning, Donald Trump announced he would be meeting with his budget chief, “Russ Vought, he of PROJECT 2025 Fame, to determine which of the many Democrat Agencies, most of which are a political SCAM, he recommends to be cut, and whether or not those cuts will be temporary or permanent.”
The comments represented a dramatic about-face for Trump, who spent much of last year denouncing Project 2025, The Heritage Foundation's massive proposed overhaul of the federal government, which was drafted by many of his longtime allies and current and former administration officials.

According to all preliminary reports, regardless of the rhetoric Hamas uses, it will be an unconditional surrender. This could have ended a year and a half ago. Hell, it would have never started if the Hamas leadership hadn't "blessed" what happened on October 7.
What a disaster all around.
If there is a silver lining it would be that Hamas is probably finished, but what a cost.
