It's going to be an ugly night for the Virginia Republican Party.

Huge turnout in NOVA and Richmond area. TOTAL collapse in deep red Southwestern Virginia. Robust voting in college towns with Virginia Tech surpassing 2024 Election Day vote. I think a sweep of all three state offices is on the table as well as significant pickups on the House of Delegates.

“Diverse ticket” ain’t their thing.

A black female, a gay man married to a black guy, Miyares gets a pass mostly.

Trump has only mentioned Miyares by name.
Reid couldn’t raise money even internally. He’s risen fast since the Jones thing. Hasmi has mostly been invisible on the air despite her massive money draw.

Jones has no business being in the race and IF Abbie wins she should ask for his resignation. I know she’s got bigger steps ahead of her and turning her back could hurt her standing with the black community but…Jones, just NO

11. Chester County PA polls now closing 10 pm!

I was a poll greeter today near where I live in Chester County. Early in the morning, it was discovered that there was not a single independent/ Libertarian/ Green etc listed in the sign in books! A (righteously) angry voter came storming outside and yelled at absolutely everyone (both us at our table and the Republican table people ) The Rs tried to tell him “This is why we need change, look what the Dems are doing” He screamed at her to shut up, and yelled that both parties are communists. // We heard the mistake was that SOMEHOW, for whatever reason (!) no one at Voter Services had caught that the templates for the books from the primaries(!) had been reused (?!) which naturally don’t include independents. So all of the independents etc who showed up (in the entire county) had no other choice but to vote on provisional ballots. Until AFTER 5:00 when the additional booklets finally arrived. Ain’t that a pip!!!!

So, it’s 8:00 here now, and yes, while the polls are still open another two hours, everyone who comes in will have to vote provisionally… !!! What a sh*t show.

It didn't take long... and it's a very good sign for Democrats.

And what an exciting night!! Flipping the AG seat was amazing. When that call came in, it felt real - people are sending a message.

Hopefully this snaps the legislative wing to attention.

The Republican Party in general and the Virginia Republican Party in particular like their wannabe aristocrats WAY too much - Youngkin with his snotty cravat wants to be "Lord Youngkin."
