Tonight’s majority-deciding special election win was critical to defending DFL control ahead of 2026 when every Minnesota Senate seat will be back on the ballot.

Kudos to all those that campaigned, knocked on doors, etc., for Democratic candidates.

Why do they hold the house if it is completely split and Dems have the Gov? How do they determine the tie breaker?

I saw something on ballotpedia about the special election in January 2025 mistaking it for next year I think.
