Newsom is on his way to a huge primary lead for 2028. I think he’s been leading for awhile now. His wife is also a huge asset. She was brutal about Trump the other night but all of it was true.

This win is a huge boost for Newsom’s fighter creds. And he attacks Republicans instead of other Democrats — double plus.

Jennifer Siebel Newsom is so impressive. I saw this clip of her blasting Trump on TikTok, but I'm not sure how to link from there. Hopefully this YouTube link works -- it's so worth a watch. This is the type of unrelenting shame and disgust that needs to be heaped on Trump nonstop.

And Yay! still about the Dodgers, thanks. They are a gritty team -- obviously you can never count them out.

Jennnifer Siebel Newsom didn't pull any punches on the Traitor. I read her speech went Viral.

I Love California, too! I lived there for 15 years.. all over San Diego County. My daughter was born there.

How much money did billionaires waste trying to stop this?

And here is perhaps the most important macro point on gerrymandering:

When a territory is already heavily gerrymandered, as is Texas, there is always a risk in trying to push the boundaries of gerrymandering farther. In normal times (with the voter suppression machine hard at work), there is probably room for Texas to pick up 1 or 2 more seats with even more aggressive gerrymandering. But these are not normal times. If Trump is still running his "chaos and cruelty" regime a year from now, we could actually pick up seats in Texas despite the redistricting Of course, we have to run strong candidates who will communicate with a strong voice.

Meanwhile, in California, the districts are nonpartisan at this stage, so it is a virtual certainly we can gerrymander them to pick up several seats.
