An interesting sidelight (well, I think it's interesting 😁)

At the moment that Abigail Spanberger was declared the winner, my wife asked me a question, the answer of which was unknown to me. I opened my Wiki immediately and there on the page it stated among other things that she was the governor-elect of Virginia. I remarked that the rapidity of updating was amazing and how clearly important the online record is from a logistical standpoint. It’s a Stupendous era in which we live, isn’t it?

or stop being astounded by. I think back to HS and the computer lab filled with tiny screens containing bright green text that made zero sense to me and compare it to today's world and the two seem so absolutely alien to each other. I never saw any of this coming, but it's kinda cool it came anyway.
