I'd like to hear your thoughts on this off year election.

Do you think a lot of repigs will pivot perhaps slowly as Trump is now poison in their minds they are probably thinking we have 364 days to rehab the republican image people will forget.
Maybe the shutdown will end now. And perhaps will actually see the Trumpstein documents released with congressional votes. The repigs will be looking for a way to get rid of their orange King Saul.
The rats are cornered and we’re now heading into a really dangerous situation as Trumpstein is desperate.

Last question I’m starting to think my dog is broken as he’s on the couch laying on his back and chewing on his rear leg.
Maybe i shouldn’t ask that question could just be chonk yoga.

trump will insist the elections were rigged, and the supremes will agree, ordering voting machines to be disassembled by "big ballz"

we are not dealing with normal people.

Reached the maximum right swing about 6 months ago. It is now headed to the left and will pick up momentum and will return with equal speed and force in the opposite direction. I’ve been waiting for this moment.

But it's too early to begin claiming victory for next year. As somebody in another thread said, The work doesn't stop, we still have work to do.
It does seem some rw's are finally getting a clue. That makes me cautiously hopeful.

7. I think Republicans in Congress and the administration will continue to bow down to Trump.

As will tech titans and many other CEOs like the Ellisons—Trump loyalists—who control CBS News and Bezos and Will Lewis, who are turning the Washington Post into Fox lite. The Post has lost most of its celebrated reporters and opinion writers.

We may see more change in some of the states, those that are purple or trending toward purple, like Georgia. I gave been very concerned about Ossoff’s re-election chances, but yesterday’s elections give me hope that voters will send him back to the Senate.

The Republican lie and spin machine will ramp up to do its usual character assassination of every Democratic candidate, who all need to learn some lessons from Mamdani’s playbook.

I don’t see Trump changing at all. He is getting richer by the day, though the decrease in crypto prices might worry him some. Indeed, he may get even more violent and send the military to take over Democratic cities on any pretext he can invent. Miller and Vought will double down to do as much damage as possible before the midterms in case Democrats win the House and/or Senate majority.

They are already putting up a more limited voter ID campaign. They will not stop.

And in the Capital city we tossed one great Democrat incumbent from the city council, and let at least one but probably two new whackaloon clowns onto the school board. We need to do better on the ground everywhere.

On edit- I was too hasty! Yay! We won all three of the three open school board seats! That helps a lot!
