This was a fun oral argument to listen to

The only down side was having to listen to Sauer. We all agreed his voice was grating, but he also talked to fast.

that "he conceded" a certain argument, Katyal quickly and politely said no, he did not concede that fact, and then he went on to state the facts. Impressive in my opinion.

The oral arguments start at 1:58. They were expected to take just over an hour, and went for well over two hours.

Jam packed with legal wonkiness. And not at all boring.

The only caveat I have - John Sauer's voice and verbal demeanor are off putting.

the Supremes. He argues on the merits rather than contend with the justification of opinion put forth by Alito. Hopefully, in camera, they will knock his knees from under.
