"VPN Detected!"

I don't have a "Truth Social" account.

A friend posted something on Facebook that looked like it was a clearly spoofed "Trump tweet."

Went to Truth Social to check.

IMMEDIATELY GOT A POP-UP in red letters, "VPN DETECTED!"

Yeah...so fucking what.

I use NordVPN.

There are SOME SITES that DO NOT WORK if you have a VPN turned on.

But it's been several years at least, probably longer, that I have used a VPN, and I have NEVER gotten a "DANGER WILL ROBINSON" pop-up because of one.

I know MOST Websites give you a full digital rectal exam when you check in, your IP, your location, many other things. I have NEVER had a "VPN check" result in a "red flag."

And I imagine the "data mining" of visitors to the site, especially tracking after they leave, is intense on Trump's Twitter rip-off site. That's why I closed the browser and ran "CCleaner" and nuked my cache, cookies, history, etc. I also have several extensions that block trackers.

If they don't like my VPN, I don't want to visit their site. eShirl Nov 5 #1

Unless something had changed, I would pull that shit off my machines and run a full Malwarebytes and MS Defender sweep.

Stay away from Kapersky too as they are close with Russia’s FSB and GRU.

Ate my hard drive on my laptop back in 2010. I have been heavily protected ever since.
