Newsom-Sherrill candidates for our next Presidential ticket?

I know it's too early to tell but I have high hopes to live long enough to see two talented Dems who could appeal to both coasts and would be a strong duo of talent and popularity (altho Sherrill will be a "wait and see&quot .

Nothing against Newsom, but I do feel a strong midwest candidate would fare better in a general election than one from the west coast. Just my two-cents worth. All of which means nothing this far out from 2028.

I guess I just want to see the two great female governors-elect have a great start instead of talking about 2028.

Seriously, he'd get Pelosi-d (them LiBruls) in the extreme. It'd be a gift to reinvigorating the dying GOP base.

Nothing wrong with him I'm sure. But we're way past his governing skill set

I know she served in Congress but allow her to earn her chops as governor before going bigger...

personally I think Newsom would need a running mate every bit the son-of-a-bitch he is (and I mean that in the most flattering way)..someone youngish who doesn't play nice..Swalwell/Acosta/Neguse/Garcia ..because as much as I'm loathe to say this we have not had much luck with a woman at the top of the ticket...

The dummies in this country will not accept a woman as president no matter how incredible she may be.

He's got the personality and is media savvy enough to always dominate the news cycle. He's going to be very tough to beat.

Newsom-Whitmer?

Newsom-Bashear?

Newsom is going to be our next President.

While he will be a strong candidate for my vote (I’m not Canadian and actually have a say in who we nominate), there’s plenty of time for all of this to be hashed out. I have noticed that those who aren’t fans of Newsom have been a little cross today. I’m wondering if they were quietly hoping P50 would fail? 🤷‍♂️

Easy does it. It will certainly be interesting. I get the feeling that he will take no shit from Trump.
