Voters serve up a Democratic tsunami from coast to coast in November 2025 general election, repudiating Trump's regime

Last night, voters across the United States of America turned out in huge numbers for a local election year to propel Democratic candidates and progressive causes to victory across the country, serving up a blue tsunami of historic proportions. In state after state and race after race, Republicans were soundly defeated, with voters sending a loud and emphatic message: we don’t like your destructive, un-American agenda.

Even contests that Republicans hadn’t been expecting to lose went Democrats’ way. It was about as close to a total sweep of major state and local races as any pundit could have expected, and it left Republicans fuming, from Donald Trump on down.

Trump definitely watched the returns roll in, and he wasn’t happy, posting a message in mostly all caps that tried to deflect blame for his cult’s disastrous performance:

“Trump wasn’t on the ballot, and shutdown, were the two reasons that republicans lost elections tonight,” according to pollsters.
