This vividly insulting description of Donald Trump is the most brutal summary of the US president you'll ever read

Historian and writer Oliver Kornetzke wrote the brutal takedown of the US president in a Facebook post in August 2025, and Twitter/X user @lesstenny then shared it. It’s since been retweeted 12k times, with 38k likes (and counting).

Estel Cooper (@estel62.bsky.social) 2025-11-07T01:14:09.136Z

And here’s the full text:

“Behold. The festering carcass of American rot shoved into an ill-fitting suit: the sleaze of a conman, the cowardice of a draft dodger, the gluttony of a parasite, the racism of a Klansman, the sexism of a back-alley creep, the ignorance of a bar-stool drunk, and the greed of a hedge-fund ghoul—all spray-painted orange and paraded like a prize hog at a county fair.

Not a president. Not even a man. Just the diseased distillation of everything this country swears it isn’t but has always been—arrogance dressed up as exceptionalism, stupidity passed off as common sense, cruelty sold as toughness, greed exalted as ambition, and corruption worshiped like gospel.

It is America’s shadow made flesh, a rotting pumpkin idol proving that when a nation kneels before money, power, and spite, it doesn’t just lose its soul—it shits out this bloated obscenity and calls it a leader.”

Needless to say, Oliver’s words have struck a chord.

that trump is totally fake because he's lying to you about his actual looks and doesn't want you to see what he really looks like, you should probably have NO question whether he's lied to you about ANYTHING else he's EVER said!

And yes , he's really that stupid.

Really??

Just because Trump is the distillation of everything that is wrong with the United States at this time, doesn't mean that our country has always been this way.

The author of the tweet, could have left those four words out, and it would have been more powerful in terms of bringing voters to our side.

We still have a dark history, a very dark history.

From Wounded Knee, The Tulsa Race Riots and more than I can address.

Now we have a 'Resident that wants to 'whitewash' America so to speak and it won't be for the first time that America has tried to do that.

the diseased distillation of everything this country swears it isn’t but has always been—arrogance dressed up as exceptionalism, stupidity passed off as common sense, cruelty sold as toughness, greed exalted as ambition, and corruption worshiped like gospel.

It is America’s shadow made flesh ... proving that when a nation kneels before money, power, and spite, it doesn’t just lose its soul—it shits out this bloated obscenity and calls it a leader.”

Kornetzke is saying trump is a symbol of the ugliness America "... has always been" ...

As the longest standing democracy in human history, and as the leader of the free world for 100 years of Western history, America has almost never been "The festering carcass of American rot shoved into an ill-fitting suit: the sleaze of a conman, the cowardice of a draft dodger, the gluttony of a parasite, the racism of a Klansman, the sexism of a back-alley creep, the ignorance of a bar-stool drunk, and the greed of a hedge-fund ghoul..." That would be the felon that 77% of America did not vote for.

So to all ten of you Oliver Kornetzkes online who shit on this great country by sloppily flogging it with trump?

You Kornetzkes can go shove it.

No one -- especially Americans -- should NEVER-EVER judge anyone or group or nation by its worst moments or people, only by its best -- and for the world, there have been tens of millions more of those moments and people from America. America created the modern world after WWII.

One example of the 'Kornetzke historical stupidity': If the U.S. hadn't invented, built and distributed the Internet infrastructure of the planet, its literal neural system, Kornetzke wouldn't have had the media means to sloppily flog America with its worst leader in its history.

And what to me are very constructive and valid criticisms of the tremendous blind spots we have always nurtured and often been afraid to address straight-on.

So, speaking of straight-on, I strongly disagree with you. If I read you accurately, this line of thinking is a good part of what has many people whining and fretting that we dare take down memorials and statues venerating the racist slave-monger confederate generals. Sure, let them pretend that war was not related to slavery! That is only one exemplar.

And not indulge the sort of attitude embodied in the "love it or leave it" school of the '60's and '70's. We have certainly evolved and grown, from a time when speaking out against the Vietnam war was seemingly treasonous for many. Now, alas, we merely have millions who voted (again!) for a thug who never matured beyond elementary school and finds it treasonous to even criticize him.
