JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon on Wednesday said his company will not donate money toward the White Houses ballroom construction, where the East Wing once stood.
In an interview with Dimon, CNN anchor Erin Burnett noted how JPMorgan Chase was not listed among the companies that have donated toward the project.
.....
We have an issue, OK, which is anything we do, since we do a lot of contracts with governments here and around the world, we have to be very careful about how anything is perceived, Dimon said. And also how the next DOJ is going to deal with it.

2. Any federal employee or agency head who broke the law
3. Any official who took any kind of prohibited bribe, gift, or donation whatsoever.
4. Any official who broke or directed others to break the Hatch Act by illegally using a federal agency for the purpose of political advocacy.
Put them all in the federal penitentiary.
This should be a top-level item in the Dem platform.

(2,295 posts)If theres nothing wrong and its totally on the up and up why worry about future DOJ investigations? Basically admitting this whole ballroom sham is just a pay to play with the current, corrupt administration and once someone in there with actual ethics starts looking into it it would be bad for them.

Criminal penalties, 15 years.
That's a clue. Instead of the usual, "We're looking forward, not back, let bygones be bygones" line, prominent Dems should be putting these people on notice that this has every appearance of a criminal act and will be treated as such in the next administration.if these people don't clean up their acts. When they go on media programs, they should specifically mention this statute in a discussion of the rule of law.
Likewise, everything the ICA agents are doing is on video. If they are committing illegal acts, the acants and the entire chain of command will be held responsible.

And our new President asking corporations, "Can you say Nationalize?"
And of course, the new DOJ asking ICE , Homan and Miller, "Can you say Nuremberg II?"
And what to do with the common magat/racist/fascists? Asking for Benito.
