We used to attend Yale football in its historic Yale Bowl. They (and mostly their tailgating) were a highlight of our year in New Haven. No longer and I am sad that it's over.

It is odd not being a New Haven resident. And I miss the tailgate group we had joined. Those were good days!

Now we watch Ivy League games on TV. Unless we get into a group that goes to the Yale Bowl for season games we will watch only on TV. It's not the same, of course. I miss our friends at the tailgate party!

I guess Carl Sagan's tenure there was lost on these fuckers.

Much of what he communicated espoused the equality of man.

14. Pay the Trump regime $30 million for being their serf?

Wow, this is why Trump is seen around the world as the head of a crime syndicate.

I hadn't even heard there were major problems at Cornell that Trump could use as an excuse. What a cowardly capitulation. Of course the people who decided to pay the blackmail won't themselves have to pay anything.
