James Carville thinks the GOP better lawyer up and a Dem President will call for reform of the Supreme Court in 2028.

Bullet points...

1. Do not worry about being out-funded by GOP donors...no Dem candidate has lost an election this century for lack of money.
2. Dem lobbyists' income will triple this year and GOP congress-critters better lawyer up if they were involved in any irregularities.
3. Guardrails would not have helped to restrain Trump.
4. Democratic trifecta in 2028...the Dem President will announce a commission to reform the Supreme Court.
5. GOP has a big anti-semitism problem and it's going to get worse.
6. Louisiana governor Jeff Landry is a disgrace and is destroying his alma mater LSU.

That he will not let it go, name a bulldog of an AG and go to work.
If this country is to survive, not only do we need to win back house , senate and presidency but also make sure we go after everybody who enabled Trump.
It should be clear that attempting to establish a dictatorship will have consequences or they will try again.

know that Biden did give pardons prior to his leaving office to protect some of his admin. and others, so that was an excellent bit of protecting innocents by Pres. Biden.

I just feel like the Supreme Court, as it is, isn't responsive at all, or if it is somewhat, not very much, instead, it's bowing down to tRUMP way too much. We should have expanded the SC when under Pres. Biden's term, we could have, but perhaps encountered some resistence, but make term appointments, not lifetime for all appointments.

In any event, these illegal orders by tRUMP often take too long by any governing body to immediately act on and rule as illegal, we must speed this process up.

And this other issue bought by poster Carville, that guardrails wouldn't work in restraining tRUMP, we have some very serious issues to work out and strengthen our safeguards more immediately, e.g., have rules activate immediately if the current and rogue president tries to hamstring / execute orders his/her way out of any restraints what-so-ever, then all executive orders issued by offending president become null and void automatically and current president enacting the illegal orders whole admin. is placed on immediate probation, with a new emergency admin. appointed by a slew of former and current advisors (by the people ourselves, voted upon upon every presidential election) who would be in place until a new administration is election next Nov. 4, 20XX (use every Nov. 4 as a safeguard date).
