I didn't expect this of him.

I’ve seen some digs at him being self important over the years. He released a record at one point. He was the 4-6th lead actor in Marvel movies and seemed to act like he’s anywhere on par with Downey Jr.

She'd already complained publicly on social media before that, demanding he pay more attention to her and complaining about him spending time with another woman.

She told the tabloid she'd been "scared for her life" of Renner getting angry in August, but in October she wanted the world to know he loved her.

None of this makes sense.

It doesn't sound to me as if this was anything other than an affair she'd wanted that didn't turn into the great romance or marriage she'd hoped for, so she's smearing him. She'd already been smearing him to that tabloid last month, apparently thinking she could pressure him into more of a relationship. She seems more than a little irrational.

I particularly don't believe he threatened to call ICE.

Yet in mid-October Zhou had been telling the Daily Mail about their love.

In the new story, Zhou claims Renner threatened to call ICE after she complained about the photos he was sending...but since she claims elsewhere that had started in June, it makes no sense she'd wait that long to object.

This was obviously a consensual relationship, and at 37 - she's turning 38 - she isn't a naive child. She wants people to believe that when she's turning on him now, three weeks after telling a tabloid about their affair and claiming he "found new love" with her, she's somehow the victim.
