Trump isn't meeting with Democrats because those surrounding him are keeping him from doing so.

He's 100% compromised; those around him are completely controlling him.

He no longer has any clue of what's really going on because they are actively creating a reality that gets their agenda through.

He used to have more independent thought (in his first term) and it has slipped out this term but barely at all. Trump pivots after his brain is washed which isn't hard to do with him since he has a predilection for all things rotten but that is why he has been TacoTrump! He's behind Ukraine, he's throwing them under the bus, he Loves Russia, he's getting tired of Putin. It goes on and on.

Republicans, Independents, Democrats or any and all that are willing need to wrest Trump away from Miller, Noem, etc and start feeding him a different diet..or reprogram him about Miller, Noem, etc to get him to lose his trust in them.

We know they manipulate him but I think it's gone beyond what is being reported on.... based on his back and forth decisions.

but that was before he was this mentally diminished. Is probably worse now.

We've seen it play out even in the early days. Someone gets in front of him and softens his stance but he then comes back contradicting himself and gets crazier with his demands, etc. He is not in control.

to line his pockets to manipulate him into going along. I'm sure 96% of that is the easiest pill to swallow for the pain he's causing but I do believe there is a teeny tiny part of him that wants to be seen as doing the right thing from time to time. I think if he wasn't being controlled like he is he would back off the ACA issue but the real people running our country are directing him.

Wait until all the lawsuits AGAINST OUR GOVT, OUR TAX $$$ start paying off for migrants mistreated, Venez fishermen murdered, etc.

I wish the perps would be held personally responsible.

We know that won't happen though, don't we?

Or a few Republicans can join Democrats to make it happen. Until then, we are pretty much fucked as a Country.

manipulate him for their own agenda but Trump makes the decisions himself.

If he really wanted to meet with democrsts he would easily have done so.

I agree that he largely goes along and lets them use him and his immunity to do their destruction but I do think there is more to it with his decline. I've been thinking about it for a short while now. He slips up and goes against the grain from time to time but quickly is put back in line. I think that's where the control is coming in.

Because I’ve got 79 years’ worth of evidence to show he’s always been the scum of the earth.

I'm just saying that I think he is more compromised and being more controlled and the agenda is not all his. Which everyone knows but it seems to me it's actually worse than that.
Hence the ramped up flip flopping, the endless cruelty - which I'm sure he's on board with for the most part but his ego would at
times cause him to work with dems (Schumer and Pelosi comes to mind) in the past. There have been slight glimpses of that when like Zelensky met with him and he changed his tune a bit then kept flipping back and forth with Putin.

I actually think it's a bit more frightening now that he's obviously cognitively compromised. He's a sick person but he has smarter sick people all around him.
