AN APOLOGY TO EVERYONE!!!

In all caps like I did when I was ranting over the Supreme Court stay on SNAP benefits.

After reading what kind commenters were trying to explain, I understand what was done and why

Please understand my anger was not toward any DUers, and I hope it wasn't taken that way.

Yesterday was the final straw for me.

I am completely over the way orange Caligula destroyed checks and balances and plays his games with our lives.

I am over listening to "moderates" from our own party who think that MAGA repubs can be negotiated with, such as caving on the shutdown for promises from liars.

I fear for the future.

Glad I have lived most of my life before it gets here.

that if Justice Jackson removed the stay it would all be over. If that was true I would have been pissed too.

What Jackson did is the best hope to getting the stay removed, there is no guarantee that the full court will release the money.

The 6 members of the SC are so fascist that I was going to post that Roberts may be the anti-Christ.

I understand now. I was rightly educated on this.

What's happening to our country is appalling and it's understandable that we're finding it hard to trust anybody.

Taking food from children and vulnerable people is evil. Rage is understandable.

Say "Good point."

Then go on as a radical.

We need more radicals.

That I need to read several articles on the subject when I see a headline that is contrary to Democratic principles here. There's always an explanation that makes sense. But that old click bait works a lot, doesn't it? No worries. Your passion is great!

Until you bring up the shadow docket.
SCOTUS has been more than happy to rule in the favor of the rich and powerful without giving any justification or an explanation of any kind.

But when it comes to feeding the elderly, the handicap and children, SCOTUS suddenly feels compelled to follow the process.

This is not an attack on Justice Jackson but just pointing out that this court had alternatives. Chief Justice Roberts could have done something different. If we have learned anything these last 10 years is that where there is a will, there is a way. They just don't give a shit.

what the Republican party are doing is terrorism, that's my opinion.

We the People need to stick together, and vote these people out. As of this date, that's our "force".

I am aware also that shithole and comrades are trying to do away of voting rights for many, those 6 assholes in the US SC are agree with him.

With so much going on, it is sometimes difficult where to point your anger.

Trump's aim is, and always has been, to confuse and to demoralize people, and make them feel insecure and angry.

Unfortunately, it is working.

Hoping for better days ahead for all Americans.
And that the Trump Insanity Train doesn't find traction in other countries.

For years, I've been saying - and lately, without a trace of facetiousness - that it is far from the worst time in history to be in one's 70s. My friends and I have talked about this quite a bit, and we are firmly of the conclusion that, growing up as we did near the beaches of Greater Vancouver, and when we did, we experienced the zenith of Western civilization.

For sure, we are now witnessing the first decades of the downside.
