Did Trump have a mini stroke?

I grabbed this photo from another thread on DU. Look at the droop on the right side of his mouth, our left.

when it looked like he was having a TIA or stroke.

I can see a spot in his eye that looks like a reflection. A friend of mine had that same type of spot after a stroke. But sorry Orrex, he went on to live many more years subsequently.

That sudden onset of sleepiness in the middle of doing something else?

The breathing slows, the heartbeat goes down, the blood pressure drops - the stages before a quiet, peaceful death in some cases.

Hoping . . .

In prison cleaning black and brown mens toilets for the rest of his shambolic life. No excuses of dementia or the poor boy was hurt in childhood like Thom Hartmann goes on about. Bull fking shit! Make that pos experience real life that he deserves while the rest of us get some JUSTICE!!!

I'll be perfectly happy if he dies in his sleep tomorrow.

Sometimes, you simply have to acknowledge the fact that some people will escape justice in their lifetime. Trump will be one of those. Personally, there are people for whom prison does not bring contrition or remorse, it only breeds more anger and contempt. I think he is incapable of remorse. I just want him to shuffle off this mortal coil, so we can get the cleanup underway.

passed. He was deteriorating physically, mentally, emotionally but still held it together enough to be independent, but just barely and not really. He was always a hard, angry guy but, at the end, he was getting increasingly distrustful (paranoid?) and quite frankly, unbearable.

Vance was right there, expecting tRump to hand him the question. tRump’s press secretary is right there to explain things. They all know. We will see less and less of tRump because the optics are getting worse.

Edit to add: But he is the cult leader and is needed to keep his base together and voting.

And thus, I assume, all that campaign energy was due to massive amounts of uppers. They apparently are no longer feeding them to him. Probably due to failing health.

It's inflammation of the blood vessels and can cause vessels to narrow. Usually diagnosed by CT or MRI imaging.

not when someone is relaxed or especially asleep. That could just be older flabby skin and gravity. If he woke up and smiled and only one side of his face smile,d that would be pretty good confirmation.

Sleeping is sleeping, the face slackens, there might be drool, and that isn't limited to oldmen, either. The person awakens spontaneously and is unimpaired.

With a mini stroke, the person might be awakened with some difficulty but will be somnolent. Droop and/or drool will be on one side. The person might be weak or even paralyzed on one side.

Trust me, you'll know there is a difference when you see it.

Having said that, I still say our country deserves better than a worn out old mnn who falls asleep at pressers and mishears or misinterprets too much of what he's told. The former is unseemly. The latter is fucking dangerous, as his misinterpretation of nuclear power as nuclear weapons.

For like 5 days then they would not let the media get close to him and we only saw him from a distance. The white house posted old photos of Trump playing golf. It was much worse the first few days after it happened.

It lasted six months, and my recovery was 90%, but not 100%. It is not pleasant, but though I may have looked like a moron during the worst of it, the disease can leave a permanent effect. It does not affect the afflicted person’s mental capacity, though.

I would therefore like to reassure everyone here that I remain only 90% a moron, and never went all the way to 100%. I can’t speak for Trump, of course, since each case is different.

He has had a series of mini-strokes. I've read and seen reports from doctors and pundits alike. All are in agreement on this one.
