20 minutes. Is that a long time for a president to take a nap during a press conference?

'Oh my god': WaPo analysis shows Trump 'was sleeping for 20 minutes during a live event'

https://www.rawstory.com/trump-sleep-20-minutes-wh/

Trump caught heat for closing his eyes through a press conference, and a new Washington Post analysis reveals the president spent nearly 20 minutes sleeping or battling sleep during the event.

Trump appeared to doze off during a press conference on Thursday, drawing both mockery and shock from political analysts and other online observers. One night later, as he was trying to shake off the Oval Office scandal, he was seen "slumping" into his limo, according to video posted by Fox News and shared by the Daily Beast Saturday.

Now, the Washington Post has published an analysis of the Oval Office event, reviving the scandal with video evidence suggesting Trump was asleep for nearly 20 minutes on that occasion.

In a Saturday article called "A closer look at Trump’s apparent struggles to fight off sleep in the Oval Office," the outlet argues that its "analysis of multiple video feeds found that the president spent nearly 20 minutes apparently battling to keep his eyes open at a recent event."

Remember all the supposed drug prescriptions during tramp's first term?
Well, maybe that drug use is taking its toll and the attendees are having a hard time covering things.

… is that he fails to wake up in the middle of one of these things. Like NEVER WAKES UP AGAIN. Stiff as a board. Diaper overflowing with the ultimate relaxation.

Yeah, I’d prefer prison but at this point, I think we just need him dead so we can start undoing this nightmare.

Ronald Reagan may have had a tendency to nod off.

“I have left orders to be awakened at any time in case of a national emergency – even if I’m in a cabinet meeting,” he joked. Word got out that he napped daily, and historian Michael Schaller wrote in 1994 that Reagan’s staff “released a false daily schedule that showed him working long hours,” labeling his afternoon nap “personal staff time.” But some family members denied that he napped in the White House.

Some smart-aleck MAGA edited a video of an attempted interview of a celebrity who was up in years. The celebrity did in fact doze off for a bit while waiting to be interviewd. The video was edited to take out the clip of the celebrity and to splice in a loop of a snip of Biden looking downward as he was seated. The effect of the concocted trashy video was to suggest that Biden had fallen asleep while being interviewed.

Just sayin’

It takws a LOT of energy for that brain to heal, and they are almost always very sleepy for at least a year following a TBI/stroke. Brains are expensive, energy wise.

Finally a media outlet actually mentions this with even videos from Fox News. Is an awakening by them of how feeble and OLD he is finally happening? If so, I would say too little, too late. Or maybe better late than never?

Either way, the media is partially responsible for our country finding ourselves in this position at this point in our history.
