Dina Doll: Shutdown Until Dec. 5th When Tennessee Special Election Might Add Republican to Counter AZ Rep-Elect Grijalva

Raskin demands the DOJ explain why the Epstein probe was killed, despite survivors willingness to cooperate. Meanwhile, Speaker Mike Johnson may be stalling AZ Rep-elect Adelita Grijalva’s swearing-in until after the TN special election on Dec 2 to block a discharge petition forcing release of the Epstein files. Dina Doll reacts.

Grijalva is 218 on the discharge petition for the Epstein files. It doesn't matter how many are on the other side, it's still in the minority on this particular issue.

You're right, it doesn't matter for the petition, but maybe it does matter for the vote after the petition is filed to release the Epstein files. Maybe Johnson needs that vote to reach a majority of "no" votes on releasing the files. If they had a "no" majority now they could simply allow the petition to reach 218 and then vote "no" on releasing the files.

Why can they depend on their constituents to vote against their welfare or against the law.

I'm guessing the Epstein files must have some vile fucking shit for the House to essentially quit meeting. There are 2 things Democrats should talk about non-stop:

1. Republicans stealing people's Healthcare. They literally want people to die on the street.

2. Epstein files. What the very fuck is there to hide?
