Here's the deal

No, we don't really know anything that proves Schumer et al are "caving."

BUT

It's so easy to believe because that's what has happened so often (read: almost every time) in the past.

So, I'll pardon the doomsayers for expecting the worst, while still hoping for the best myself.

but I think the point is that there's decent reporting even from "liberal" sites like MSNBC that this possibility is a real thing. I think the point of these threads is to get people to call their reps before it's too late. I'm sensing kind of a "trial balloon" element to this whole thing, and Dem leadership needs to hear from us.
