Even when he profits from expensive hotel rooms for those people at his resort, it's still sunk. POTUS doesn't have the authority to move money earmarked for administrative costs for something else. Nit that he cares about rules.
It's more the appearance of cruelty that golf is more important than people being hungry and "winning" over the dems is the goal, not helping hungey people.

Obama & Biden would not have gone to recreate during a protracted shutdown, simply because that would be wrong. Doing bad things is not an impediment for Trump.

Yes, Trump is a reprehensible treasonous insurrectionist, criminal, convicted felon, and sex offender, completely unfit to be president or hold any public office.

Yes, Trump is selfish and self-centered – he cares nothing about the American people, nothing about their suffering and needs.

And yes, the voters knew this and more from Trump’s first failed, disastrous term – but they don’t care; complaining about Trump playing golf while millions of Americans suffer and struggle is pointless.
