At the cost of a bad deal and a pissed off base.

Winning means losing. As soon as we gain some political capital, that just means we can move to the right, compromise with Republicans, and most importantly, please the big donors.

and the one my hubby sent, and the ones people here on DU have sent, and ones he is no doubt getting from millions of Dems and even Independents, he should realize how wrong he is.
