Why Democrats folding now is a terrible idea

The Democratic Party thinks:

A. The American public will remember it was THEY who reopened the government to save SNAP and air travel over the Thanksgiving holiday. (They Won't)

B. The public will remember it was the GOP that caused their health care cost to skyrocket.(They Won't)

C. Their beltway advisors who are giving them bad advice are right to fold and ignore polls that show most Americans blame the GOP for the shutdown.(They're Wrong)

D. They can defend their actions when the media successful blames them for a "needless shutdown." (The Corporate Media won't allow them to do so)
