It's A Done Deal...per Politico

The Senate Democrats have capitulated to Republicans.

The agreement, which was negotiated in part by Sens. Angus King, Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan as well as GOP senators, has “more than enough” members of the Senate Democratic Caucus to advance, according to two people granted anonymity to disclose the terms.

The deal, as we now know, is to vote on the ACA subsidies "in December" with a 60 vote requirement and no guarantee that Mango Mussolini will sign it.

Hope people like $2000/month insurance premiums.

and the ACA fails. Our more conservative Dem Senators worked the deal. It could be viewed we are moving to the middle and the GOP is saddled with Trumpism going forward. Would the GOP have eventually moved the ACA? I doubt it. A closed down government with people hungry, airports throttled is no record for any politician to run on. Dems look like they're working to solve problems here. GOP, not so much.

Because Obamacare died, explain to them the decision was political.

We bent the knee and once you bend the knee you always bend the knee. What is the point of a two party system if one party gives in to the other all the damn time.

Fully expected this to happen. Disappointed. If this was the end game shoulda just let it pass in october.

Any sane person knew maga was gonna play hard ball. What we didnt know was if the moron public would blame us or them. It seems after tuesday and other polling that the gop was in a pickle and people were pissed at them.

We just let them off the hook, again. I will vote D, but my interest in politics is zero now. Dont ask for money or time. Im done.
