It appears that Schumer is AGAINST THS SO-CALLED DEAL. For those looking to BLAME someone, since quite a few here

seem to like to blame schumer.

How about those that actually negotiated this deal with the republicans? Or doesn't that fit the anti-schumer narrative.

The point is the republicans have the majority in both houses, an unfortunate fact.

When he does more than just voting no, and comes out publicly and states any Dem voting with the Repukes will have their committee assignments reviewed immediately. Then we will layoff Chuck.

Also special funding going to their States, time to reevaluate! If the fuckers are going to vote with Trump, then they will get the Trump treatment.

Did I think the deal was Adequate? Hell no! A non-starter! But - attempting to find a deal and maintain lines of communication ...

He deserves all the blame and scorn he is getting, and then some.

Along with all the “Yes” votes, Schumer’s career will end with his current term.

he is a disgrace to the Democratic Party and needs to be replaced with someone who will uphold the principles of the Democratic Party, someone like, oh, I don't know, AOC.

I am sick to death of wimps trying to "negotiate" with the Republican bully machine. How many times do they have to lose out doing this to LEARN that they need a different approach.

I know I'm preaching to the choir here.

But he gave the go ahead for the Committee to kill the filibuster. He was behind the first CR in March and was behind this CR.

That's just what Schumer is relying on - Democrats thinking that he has no agency and the Democratic senators who were negotiating with the republicans were in rebellion against him.

Give me a fucking break.

There is no way on god's green earth that this proposal would have gone forward if Schumer wasn't a "yes". The "anti-Schumer" narrative is spot on. He's the minority leader - they do what he says. He is to blame.
