I will not be sending any money to these traitors of the Democratic Party due to their votes on the CR!!

Catherine Cortez Masto
Jacky Rosen
Maggie Hassen
Jeanne Shaheen (retiring)
Angus King
John Fetterman
Tim Kaine
Dick Durbin (retiring)

AFAIC, they are traitors to the principles of the Democratic Party, I'd rather spend my money on people who mirror my views.

I won't have heath insurance from January 1st, but people are starving, and our skies are more dangerous. I am not going to condemn them.

they have capitulated to the repigs and the proof is in the pudding.
We had the momentum going into the mid terms and those Dems threw it all away with their votes to approve the CR.

it's because they never had any loyalty to the Democratic party!

Is that where you were going?

I don’t remember Kaine being that bad..it’s been a long time since I followed US politics closely enough I guess..
Fetterman I expected that from.

Behind Lieberman and Edwards.

But Kaine is creeping up there. May overtake Edwards, who was always a piece of shit. Lieberman will of course always be the worst.

and Edwards urged Kerry to make more of a fight over the 2004 election 'results',
particularly in Ohio--- but Kerry wouldn't listen to him.

If you think he was such a bad VP candidate in 2004,
whom do you propose would have been 'better' ??

I'll wait.

At the time I agree, it’s hard to say if any particular democrat could have helped Kerry win.

after having backed several Democratic presidential candidates known for their 'womanizing'--
it got to be tiring
(Ted Kennedy, Gary Hart)... but Edwards' failure there didn't become evident
to me and most of the country until after he withdrew in 2008....

I was supporting him for the 2008 nomination, believing that him being a southerner
would make him a stronger candidate, even though he positioned himself
as very progressive---

(and in 2008, I was still convinced that Americans were not yet ready
to elect any black American to the presidency.....
'in retrospect', I was quite happy to have been WRONG,
and jumped on the 2008 Obama bandwagon after he had won both
the Iowa caucuses and the South Carolina primary...
Truth be known, I was most sympathetic to HIS campaign,
but I thought myself to be thinking 'strategically'
when I initially supported Edwards instead of Obama...)

Durbin voting for the Republican bill looks like he's giving cover to Schumer. They both should retire. Someone should primary Schumer, he's a waste.

Schumer doesn't have to vote yes, but knows it will pass thanks to his buddy Durbin voting yes. Schumer knows how to count votes, why wouldn't he trade his for Durbin's? Durbin takes the heat and Schumer looks good, what does Durbin care, he's done. Schumer should be done too.
