I haven't read through all the threads regarding the democrats who caved on the shut down

But it's important to take this opportunity to shout loud and clear that it was Trump and the Republicans who would see millions starve and many die or become homeless. That Democrats actually care about their constituents and had to concede.

Trump and the Republicans don't give a shit about the welfare of the American people - actually any people.
Let it be in every speech, every moment that the Republicans are more interested in their own wealth and power than the people that they purport to serve.

This is something that needs to emphasized in every future campaign.
Don't get mad, get even!

Please don't eat our own.

But this clearly wasn’t an issue they were willing to draw AND STICK TO a line in the sand over. Sorry. I have zero fucks left to give about them or their fee-fees.

We do?
It was 8 people who voted against the Democratic policy.
Shall we punish all of our Democratic legislators?
How many families are you comfortable starving? It's important that we make the narrative about how callous Trump and his minions are.
There was no way that Trump would give in.
He a classic sociopath. The only life he cares about is his own.

What concessions did we get? A promise to get a failed vote on ACA subsidies and another promise that Republicans will follow the law they were supposed to follow regardless?

This stinks.

The Republican-lite senators (despite the D after their names on the ballots) need to be voted out. I personally would actually not vote before I would vote for one of them again, even if it meant that a regular Republican won the race.

I certainly would not enable them by voting for them again.
