Post effect shutdown.

Regardless of how it all ends.

Eventually, it all gets back to Trump and the Republicans in charge with nowhere to hide. By January, for sure, it will be lame for them to be talking big in any way. That's what I predict.

1. That was the Chuck Schumer strategy back in March

when he orchestrated voting for the CR. What happened after that? Congressional Magats passed Krasnov's Big Ugly Death Bill that gutted our social safety net.

Going back to yesterday when 9 Senate Democrats voted against the vast majority of Congressional Democrats.

I can picture Krasnov in the Oval Office now, with Magats all around him, with John Thune the big star, and Krasnov giving a speech about how Democrats shut down the government and how Congressional Magats reopened it. The press will eat it up.

The 50,000 Americans who die every year because the Obamacare subsidies were not renewed will all die in quiet silence, good affordable healthcare in America will be relegated to the rich. People on Medicare, Medicaid, the VA will see their healthcare deteriorate and millions more will die. It will be left up to AI and not to doctors who lives and dies. With millions of Americans dead there will be more food left for those who survive.

Don't get sick, remember the Democrat who said that years ago?

2. I look at putting it this way, because I can't think of a better way..

By that I mean -- "look people, we were trying to do positive things, get something positive out of not voting for the CR whether it worked or not. There were no guarantees it would work. Where are you now? Are you better off"

Eventually, we will be able to say the above. Failure is only failed if you finally stop trying.

6. Post effect shutdown - Dems are not trusted at all because they always cave.

Mid terms which were looking good for us just got a whole lot bleaker! Dems proved they don't have a spine and don't care about Americans having health care at all. The ACA just died and tens of thousands of people's lives are much more at risk now and people will die because of this!! So freaking pissed off I can't stand it. Can't stand the Dems pretending like the R;s are rational and that they didn't just cooperate with the fascists. Had to turn off Joe Shmoe when Kaine was on there lying through his teeth about R's not completely gutting the ACA.

8. Yes they could easily repeat 2024, though I hope not.

People won't vote for a party they see as ineffective and gutless and that won't stand up for them. Dems just turned off most of the nation that was backing them, for gosh sakes!
