Perhaps I'm wrong to be upset

This might be a reach, and it’s going to depend on democratic messaging. Now that the.sh*t is hitting the fan on healthcare and the Republicans we dream of destroying Obama care is coming to fruition, this might cause people to wake up that it is the Republicans who are screwing them and that we really do need single pair healthcare.
If the Democratic Party can continue to pound, the fact that healthcare cost are on republicans, and maybe just maybe wake up and push for single pair healthcare, then we might get an overwhelming number of people at the polls. Should the midterms actually occur. My concern is that the Democratic party Has been absolutely abysmal at messaging. I will acknowledge that the Republicans and their billionaires own the mainstream media into a large extent online platforms, but so far we still have the ability to get message out on many platforms. There are people within the Democratic Party, who are outstanding at messaging. Now is the time to make it abundantly clear that all healthcare cost increases Are on the Republicans and that single pay or healthcare is not a bad thing at all.
The message is simple, no matter which side of the political fence you are on, the Republicans are screwing you on healthcare and the Democratic Party wants to provide you with healthcare..

1. That can happen if Congressional Democrats MAKE it happen.

Do you have any faith they will? Because I don't.

The fact that this happened tells me Schumer either secretly supported it, or lacks the leadership skills to stop it. Either way, he has no stomach for the fight we need.

2. Single pay is a complex and massive shift logistically, locally, and financially

Republicans could surprise by New Year's with a step in that direction. THAT would surprise us.

And who's going to pay for it? Despite greater throughput - volume of patients - health care providers will want to be paid the same rates as always. If 12% more patients were available, and if they could be squeezed through the system faster by AI innovations and cost reductions, would costs also drop 12%?

Complex. Which is why any such change would go slowly. To add complications, once that path is selected, there's no going back.

4. Dems threw that message away when they signed off on a promise from the always lying R's.

The 2 week vote has now turned into 12/5 - why - delay until Christmas and hope no one notices that r's are determined to make sure working class and poor can't afford insurance or healthcare. They will say they tried to negotiate and make up some lie about Dems insisting on covering the undocumented and there will be no subsudies and Americans will die. Exactly as krasnov and his boss Pooty demand.
