Silver lining on ending the shutdown

First I'll note that every dem senator that caved is not up for re-election next year so I won't have the chance to NOT send them donations.

Next, if there is any good news from the dems caving (again) it is this:

Adelita Grijalva should be sworn in which means the discharge petition to release the Epstein files should pass before the special election in Tennessee where the repub is likely to win which would increase the required votes to pass the discharge petition to 219.

The Dems have shone a bright light on the reasons millions of Americans will have to pay significantly more for healthcare next year (or drop it all together) WITHOUT helping the repubs out of the problem they created and avoiding the consequences. They will have to come up with a better plan or vote for/against the ACA subsidies in December.

The Deal would only fund the govt until January which means we could shut it down again if repubs don't honor their agreement.

The shudown has shown that the orange anus and his gang are hell bent on hurting Americans as much as possible unless they get their way while flaunting it with lavish parties and tearing down the East Wing and building a golden ballroom.

Dems should screan loudly about the repubs priorities until the next election but I'm not confident that Schumer or Jeffries are up to the task.

Lastly, the economy is a dumpster fire and nothing will change that.
