Just enough.
I wonder how that happened.
Were they all volunteers or did arms get twisted in some way?

9. And didn't make Chuck Schumer part of it. I bet the biggest pressure came from corporations ...

... there is no doubt a strategy going on. But it needed to go on till the GOP caved. We just saved TACO further embarrassment and damge.

2. Why would Durbin vote yes, unless he had Chuck's blessing?

In what world does the number 2 not do what the number one wants?

Do you think JD would vote against the way Trump wanted him to vote?

12. Right, so he takes the pill for Schumer? Durbin isn't running again, Schumer is.

Might as well have Durbin disappoint Democrats while Schumer gets it both ways, he votes no while knowing the vote is going to pass.

20. Chuck set this up.

Chuck got them to “fall on their own sword” so the other Dems could safely vote “no” since these seven are not up for election in 2026 and the voters will soon forget their traitorous act. It’s all a game for them. (I don’t count Fetterman in this bunch. He already is in the Republican Party’s pocket.)

There’s no way he goes from being left leaning liberal to appearing on Lara Trump’s show overnight.

Represent states with populations smaller than Houston, for example.

Why were these Senators from mostly small states chosen for this assignment?

Curious…

I also wonder if this is a list of corporate dems that are so far to the right we call them republican lite.

I heard a statistic today that 91% of democratic Americans wanted them to hold the line.

So, this group of millionaire Senators, by virtue of their vote, believe that the average American family can afford their health insurance premium to go up by $1000.00 per month!!! That was the fight we needed them to hang in there for. Yes, we needed all of it, but by caving government shut downs will become a habit, since the repukes always get their way.
