Durbin's constituents are getting pepper sprayed and beaten by ICE

And he just voted to take away the access to the healthcare they’ll need as a result of that violence.

He’s not on the frontline so what does he care? He’s retiring with a cushy nest egg and premium healthcare for the rest of his life

I just refuse to believe that the Democrats don’t care what is happening to their constituents.

That way Schumer can look like he didn't cave and run again. Please, get Schumer out of leadership, he can't even get his right hand man to vote with him. Unless he didn't want him to.

In any case, Illinois is a state where we can / should safely vote in a very progressive senator next year.

The whole point of the shutdown was healthcare and they completely caved after 40 days of suffering and people in food lines and failed to achieve the whole fucking reason they forced us into shutdown in the first place.
A "promise" of a vote is a bag of magic beans. They were scammed.

Now millions of people will die.

If a vote was all we wanted, there was no point in a shutdown. His particular vote in a meaningless bit of theater is beyond irrelevant.

We should be ostracizing those who voted to give trump this win.

until this shutdown ends or the courts rule it must go forward regardless and TSF agrees to follow their ruling.

His state is also home to O'Hare airport, one of the largest and busiest in the nation, with millions wanting to travel for Thanksgiving and airlines cancelling thousands of flights.

Maybe while they are bleeding and dying they can crawl home, lie on their back and think of England ? Americans are tough! Fuck that stinking healthcare.
