To DEMAND the House 100% agree to vote on ACA, BEFORE they decide, or deal is off! I mean WTF?

(30,624 posts)Krasnov is on a revenge tour and he hates Barack Obama, especially for the beatdown at the correspondence dinner.
Krasnov will go to the ends of the earth to kill Obamacare.
Obamacare will be history soon and so will 50,000 Americans who will die within a year.

(24,586 posts)has been sound the alarm that rethugs are sneaking a national abortion ban into this funding bill. Any bets on if Schumer and friends will roll over for that too?

(1,301 posts)...is they don't give a damn about anybody but themselves and their filthy rich overlords. And anybody who believes Schumer's Disgraceful Eight, which included his OWN WHIP (Durbin) simply mutinied him, I have bridge in Brooklyn that's an absolute bargain.
When they look at the polls and see they're doing worse with voter the Republicans, a fair amount of that total comes from fellow Democrats, fellow Democrats who are tired and frustrated of things like what ended the shutdown: capitulation with no meaningful forward to achieve what the resistance was about.
These Democrats weren't willing to let strong electoral victories soak in as leverage before throwing in the towel less than a week after those results.
Thune will give them their vote, and will be another act in an ongoing piece of Kabuki theater.

(19,727 posts)and the uncertainty of SNAP families Trump wants to starve, save insurance for those millions of people?
Republicans arent offering concessions, if they want to blow up the insurance market and cause mass suffering, they will have to make that case to voters next year, and own every bit of it.

(19,727 posts)It just creates more pain for millions of federal workers, many of whom are late on mortgage/rent/car/credit card payments and uncertainty for the SNAP families Donald Trump is trying to starve.
Republicans control the fate of the ACA subsidies regardless, what is the point of insisting on the continued suffering that a shutdown causes?

(20,756 posts)1) deciding together with all facts. ( not causing Democrats to, like cross a picket line) That's the look i see. They ended this possibly the worst way possible. If Johnson does not allow a vote on ACA,. THAT can be pinned on REPUBLICANS, which would be a plus for midterms. This could have been done in a way Democrats TOGETHER end this shutdown, and ALL get credit for doing it.
