Side-by-side comparison of BBC-edited Trump speech from day of Capitol attack with original - video

A comparison of the original and edited footage shows how the BBC selectively edited a Donald Trump speech, resulting in the organisation being accused of making it appear clearer that he encouraged the US Capitol attack. An edition of Panorama, broadcast a week before the 2024 US election, spliced together clips of a Trump speech made on 6 January 2021. The spliced clip suggested that Trump told the crowd: 'We’re going to walk down to the Capitol and I’ll be there with you, and we fight. We fight like hell.' The words were taken from sections of his speech almost an hour apart. Tim Davie, the BBC’s director general; and the head of BBC News have since resigned

A couple examples off the top of my head are that Trump said he barged into the dressing rooms at Miss Teen USA when that is not what he said (he specifically said Miss USA). Also the claim that "he called white supremacists very fine people" is not accurate when looked at in the actual context.

In any case their fucking side pulls this same thing WAAAAAY more often, and WAAAAY more deceptively. Faux Nooz distorts what was actually said and done ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. We are always held to a bullshit double-standard
