Recent college graduates and Gen Z workers in general may be facing an entry-level jobs crisis but there are some jobs that are more AI-proof than others.
-snip-
The jobs had to offer more than $50,000 in annual median pay, faster-than-average job growth over the next decade and low-to-moderate AI risk.
Education requirements were also capped at a bachelor's degree, with some only requiring a certificate or non-college specialized training.
The top AI-proof, entry-level jobs, including median annual pay, are:
Dental hygienists: $94,260 per year
Diagnostic medical sonographers: $89,340 per year
Respiratory therapists: $80,450 per year
Radiologic and MRI technologists: $78,980 per year
Occupational therapy assistants: $66,050 per year
Wind turbine technicians: $62,580 per year
Surgical assistants and technologists: $62,480 per year
Electricians: $62,350 per year
Physical therapist assistants: $60,050 per year

I recommend electrician. Those data centers eat up more power than we create or harvest.
Besides, I was an electrician's mate in the Coast Guard ( with a physics degree). Nov 11, 2025 is my 50th anniversay of hanging up the bell-bottoms.
And going to work in aerospace. 🛰️

PS I made WAY WAY WAY less money than these jobs.
