When Trump's gone, the MAGAt "movement" will cave in like a rotten melon

I wish I had something more positive to offer sooner, but...

...I saw an article yesterday that discussed Don Jr. justifying how he is the rightful heir to the MAGAt throne.

Noem would like a shot at it.

Obviously Miller, and the couch fucker.

The jockeying for position is gonna be 100% Lord of the Flies.

And America won't sit idly by while these scumbags duke it out.

Patience.

It's still a virtue.

Seems impossible right now, but hold on to what you believe in, keep kicking your Democratic Congress members' asses, whether you believe in your heart of hearts that they are up to the task or not.

As long as their name is on the door, they have a job to do. Never let them forget that.

And never forget that there WILL be LIFE AFTER TRUMP.

Not your big brother or your dad or a rah-rah Go Team USA cheerleader guy.

Just someone who refuses to surrender, and is encouraging you to do the same.

I keep trying to decide if him or to. Johnson of Wisconsin is worse.

Islam is the second largest religion in the world, with almost a quarter of the world following it. Of course “there are Muslims on every state”.

I know there were many passionate, committed Harris voters.

But we are also a country in which:

1). "SOME" Democrats vote a STRAIGHT BLUE TICKET
2). "SOME" Republicans vote a STRAIGHT RED TICKET
3). INDEPENDENTS choose a side or don't vote (or choose a 3rd party candidate)
4). FAR TOO MANY Americans JUST DON'T BOTHER TO VOTE

....and I have no idea what the numbers are, and especially what they'll be in 2026 or 2028. And YES, those are ALL GENERALIZATIONS. As I said, I don't have the numbers. This is just what I see from where I'm standing.

I know Democrats are going to have to step up their messaging game. And no, I don't feel I'm "bashing Dems" by saying that.

We have to WANT IT more than THEY WANT IT, and when we do, and act accordingly, we'll win.

Until then, whoever wants it most will be the ones to get it.

I'm talking about Trump lumbering off to his dirt nap.

There will be a period of transition, there will be a period of infighting.

And yeah, God help anyone who takes a nap while President Don Jr ascends to the throne.

But if we get our messaging act together and take advantage of that period of transition, we CAN win.

It's the repubs and their financiers that are worrying about the embarrassing "optics" rather than an imminent donnie dirt nap. The big bag of rats that are going to try to cash in after the rug is pulled out from under tsf has been lining up for months. It's going to be so fun to watch. 🍿

I think they are trying to position themselves for leadership in a post-Trump GOP.

"See I was independent and fought against his worst excesses!" They will claim incorrectly.

Repubs in disarray! I think we will see more of that. And when he is gone the floodgates will open.

You may say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not the only one.

I said Trump won't live forever, and when his number's up, the predators he has in his moat are all going to turn on each other.

That's a far cry from me saying "When Trump dies, he'll take fascism with him."

I didn't say that. I didn't imply that. I implied "Lord of the Flies" and I stand by that.

The open racism from the MAGAs has been an excellent foil and distraction for the fascism that was marching on anyway. But the damage created within the party will make for entertaining smackdowns as they fight it out for leadership

is their antiChrist. So I've no doubt that when he's FINALLY standing before God awaiting that pardon (and maybe a prize) and hoping to 'make a deal' (art of the steal?) there'll be a weepin and a wailin' and a gnashing of teeth in maga-land, they'll see him 'in the city ( and on the mountains of the Moon)' and MAGA will be serious damaged,

BUT still alive and festering. Because evil never rests.

...is that they're not built on anything real. They're entirely emotion-based. All you need is a media-savvy a-hole and a compliant media willing to follow and quote said a-hole at every turn, and voila!...Insto-presto, microwavable, Made in America, Cult of Personality. Whatever alleged outrage du jour the populist demagogue is using to rally the hooples around is almost negligible. The important thing is the demagogue him/herself, and the emotions they stir.

So no, sadly, it will not simply cave in and rot away into well-deserved oblivion. The genie is already out of the bottle. Sooner or later, some other lying scumbag will come along and pick up where Trump left off.
